"Nothing is good, nothing is bad, everything is different!" I guess that now, looking back, I'm really happy and appreciating my experience. "Good luck, bad luck, Who knows?!" "Good Times, bad times, who knows?!" Meh!...
For one sure thing, is that I've came to apply to my everyday life, values, beliefs, and cherished ideas that I didn't know possible in this way. Taking a slower outlook pace to life, realizing how every action and thought brings forth a result, an influence, an impact, is an intention made into creation.
Instead of wanting to change the world by being an activist only, that maybe, changing myself in the first place would help encourage the matter. Not to judge to not be judged. Understanding that everything do happen for a reason. One of my biggest accomplishments I guess, is to: "Lead by example!"
I wanted to learn about different cultures, different religions. I wanted to have a better understanding of international development. I had wished of learning a third language, and to live in immersion. I had wished to see and comprehend the meaning of adaptation and love. I wanted to grow spiritually, I wished to become more who I wanted to be!...
"When things are meant to ne, the systems are in place, designed to work for us, and they will work for us, as long as we don't get in the way."
" To make our dreams come true we have to be present in all we do and thrust with ourselves."
"We aren't born with habits, attitudes, beliefs, and expectations. We learn them. If they aren't helpful, we can get the tools to change tose beliefs..."
The world has so many wonders that we cannot even try to comprehend. I cannot say if this experience has been sometimes failures or successes, it just was what it had to be. This time, I was not running away from home, I wanted to put to reality, my dream of travelling and learning. I believe that this time, only having days left in this paradise on earth, I can say that I am not leaving to go back home, but I 'm travelling back to learn some more.
Everyone you encounter, everything that crosses our path, influences who we are, what our culture is and becomes, and also, where I will keep on going... I am now loving to say that I am part Sri Lankan and forever attached to this part of the universe...
"My country is the world, and my religion is to do good!..."
Thanks to everyone and everything, especially Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans...
Love you all very much and people back home, I'll be seeing you too soon...
Ayou bowan!!!"
